Don’t miss this Sunday at Glory of Zion when Robert Heidler will be speaking on “Fly Like an Eagle” and Barbara Wentroble will speak on “A New Sound That Brings Change”.

I want to thank all of you for praying for us here.  My wife, Pam, has completed her book, The Rewards of Simplicity.  (I wrote two chapters.)  She will now begin to comprise the Vision and Master Plan for the land we are purchasing along Interstate 35.  We lack one more large payment and then we can move forward. I will make portions of this plan available for you to read.  The Bible says in Habakkuk, “Write the vision and make it plain so all can run to it”.  Cindy Jacobs recently gave me a word from the Lord about how what we develop will be a prototype for the future, and how this will include businesses and ministries and key “land developments for overcoming in days ahead”.  I hope to see many of you at our Head of the Year Gathering on September 17-20 or at Starting the Year Off Right, which will begin on December 31. Thanks for praying for our family. We are all eagerly awaiting the birth of Samuel E. Faubion in the next week or so.  Rebekah is doing well.  Nathan is working nonstop.  This will be Allen and Mindy Faubion’s first grandchild.  Mindy painted the whole nursery room as a mural.  John, Stephanie and Chloe are moving to the other side of town which will bring Stephanie closer to where she teaches.  John is planning on enrolling in more classes this Fall.  My granddaughter, Hannah, is on a trip to Germany.  Joseph and Hannah will go with me to Hawaii to minister in September.  Joseph’s wife, Cynthia, and their younger daughter Haley just returned from Hawaii with Cynthia’s Dad.  Their sons’ (Stephen and Benjamin) summer is coming to a close. Isaac is singing, assisting Justin Rana with music, and will help his Grandpa this Fall with cattle. Ethan is working part time and pressing forward to complete his last year of High School. Daniel, Amber and Lily just returned from a vacation in Key West. Lily is beautiful and growing. I have enjoyed staying home some in June and July.  But alas, at home, I also enjoy eating, so I expand.

Issachar Class! You Are Righteous!  If you have never understood the concept of “Being Righteous and Shining!”, you will want to tune in to this week’s Issachar teaching.  Nancy Arenas just wrote me with the following, “This teaching was incredible. It was really difficult for me to understand that I’m righteous, without thinking I have to do everything right. This is something that I need to repeat over and over to believe I’m righteous and will shine with the glory of the Lord. The Lord spoke to me that radiating His righteousness we will be our key to take possession of the land. If I’m the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and will shine His glory over the earth, I will take possession of the land. This is what we, His people, need to do - occupy our sphere and place so His glory will be seen all over the earth. I am looking forward to our next Zebulun School class, “Positioned for Growth!”  Next Monday night (August 3) at 7:00 PM (CDT) you can join us onsite or by live webcast for this class which will help stir your faith and give you insight on how to move forward amidst the shaking around us.  If you are unable to join us at that time, you will be able to watch it “on demand” through end of August.  I will be teaching on “How the Seed Increases when Planted in the Right Field.”  Patti Waterbury will be our guest speaker, and will be teaching on “Growth Principles for your Field and Business.”  She will actually have a survey for each student to complete at the end of the night which will help you determine what you need for you to increase or go to the next level of authority.

Day of Repentance initiated by Coach McCartney (Friday, July 31)
A number of strategic prayer leaders across America share a sense of urgency to call for a convocation of prayer at a national level. Now is the time to humble ourselves, seek God’s face, repent, turn from wickedness and implore God to hear our prayers and to heal our land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)  

With that in mind, Promise Keepers and Aglow International, along with other national ministries have contemplated a time of repentance that would precede the Promise Keepers’ national stadium gathering in Boulder, Colorado this Friday (July 31).  PK has already secured facilities at Folsom Field in Boulder and has made that facility available for such a timely event. 

A key component of this convocation will be repentance and intercession for the Church in accordance with the Declaration of Repentance which you can review at www.daysofrepentance.org.  I believe that the Day of Repentance will serve as a catalyst for the Promise Keepers’ conference event that will begin Friday evening and also for the Church worldwide as a necessary step in seeing the Glory of God cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. (Habakkuk 2:14)  Coach McCartney’s heart is to see the tangible presence of the Lord poured out by having Jew and Gentile reconciled together.  To better understand this call, view this video posted on YouTube.

If you are in the area and can personally attend the gathering on Friday from 9 AM to 1 PM, I would strongly encourage you to do so.  If you cannot be onsite, please keep this gathering in your prayers and even consider joining together in small groups during your lunch hour or at other times during the day or weekend.  For registration details or more information, please go to www.daysofrepentance.org .
