Dear Friends, Intercessors and Zion Aligned:

We are born with celebration or sorrow built into our genes.  All of us want to celebrate, but sometimes the sorrow stops us from ever expressing the victory of our destiny. Through the Spirit of the Lord, our sorrow can turn to joy.  After Passover I prophesied that “We are in our most dangerous season from August 12 - September 15.”  In history, the Hebrew month of AV was the most critical time of covenant expression in the earth. This month could either be the “high road” or “low road” in your life processes. Some keys during this year of entering into this time of new beginning in our life will be…

This is a time of asking the Spirit of the Lord to cleanse our blood and break any spiritual generational iniquitous patterns in our lives. Pray the following:  “Dear Lord, Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end. Establish the just: for You are a righteous God that tries the hearts and reins (kidneys). Examine me, O Lord, and prove me!  Try my reins and my heart. I will bless You O Lord, who has given me counsel. Sanctify my reins and instruct me in the night seasons. Yes, my reins shall rejoice, when my lips speak right things. Let your righteousness be the girdle of my loins, and faithfulness the girdle of my reins.”  Hear Him say to the Church: “I am He which searches the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.” (Rev. 2:23)

This Sunday at Glory of Zion Outreach Center (August17)
I am excited about being at the services on Sunday. We will begin at 9 AM with “The Power of Lift.”  This is a dynamic time where we ascend in worship and descend in war.  I will be leading us as we enter in boldly to the Throne Room. During our “Power of Use” service, John Dickson and LeAnn Squier will take us back into worship.  I am looking forward to ministering on “The Keys: How to Get Them and Use Them.” Robert Heidler will be assisting me.

Galapagos and Humanism in America
Continue to pray for the team that moved on from Ecuador to the Galapagos Islands.  They have now continued their journey to Tennessee.  We believe we are in the season of the Lord to contend with the lie of evolution.  There is a natural scientific process of evolution but the theory of evolution negates God’s creative power. With 2008 being the year of the gates, we see that the gate of the Galapagos chain is a fountain, an offshoot of the Tree of knowledge of good and evil that spews forth the serpent's original question, "hath God said"? 

The theory of evolution disputes the very foundation of the Word of God.  In The Reformation Manifesto, Cindy Jacobs states “Erasmus, Charles Darwin's grandfather, was a member of the Lunar Society, a group of fourteen prominent industrialist, natural philosophers and intellectuals who met regularly in Birmingham, England, from 1765 to 1813.  The Lunar Society recognized the Bible as the greatest single obstacle to the achievement of its socialistic arms.  Their primary intention was to remove the church from a position of power in Great Briton” (p. 106). The teaching of evolution created a gate through which a false belief system invaded the entire world. We as mankind have empowered the lie by coming into agreement with it, giving birth to a greater release and strength to humanism, abortion, teaching of theory as fact, anti-Semitism, homosexuality and eugenics.  This results in man worshiping creation as opposed to the creator (Romans 1). The purpose of this prayer journey is to close the corrupt gate through repentance, worship, and apostolic declarations which will in turn open the gate of true worship to the One True God.  We believe that this will bring about a reconciliation of science, medicine, agriculture, education, etc., to God and release signs wonders and miracles into the earth.

Because of the need to understand the power of humanism in our society, beginning in September we will be offering a four week course on Creationism led by Al Lookabaugh.  The first class will be on Sunday, September 7, at 2 PM, and will be held in the sanctuary.  This course will also be available by webcast.

France … Amber Pierce on Reconciliation Prayer Journey
At the beginning of this year, I released a prophetic word during Tuesday Morning Prayer regarding the connection between Louisiana and France, and how this was a key year to pray for France.  The Spirit of God said that France would have great change and was to be a catalyst that would affect other nations, especially Israel.   The word also mentioned the Acadian people and God releasing revival among them; specifically, the Lord would turn those of French descent upside down this year.  As Roger and Charlotte Merschbrock, apostolically aligned leaders in Louisiana, heard this word, they knew God was speaking to their hearts that 2008 (the year of the gates and new beginnings), was the year to take a prayer team to France.  Billy Joe and Ruthie Young (apostolically aligned leaders in Mississippi) also heard the Lord tell them to go to France this year.  

 Based on this prophetic word, an eight-member team has been mobilized to travel to France from September 17-29.  Amber Pierce will be one of these team members.  They will be traveling to sites throughout France linked with issues regarding the Acadians, the Huguenots, slavery, and other areas.  The Lord is providing divine connections with prayer leaders in France.  The team believes their primary assignment is to come alongside them in a spirit of humility and to bless them and their nation.  They also believe the Lord will give them keys to open and close spiritual gates in France that will affect our states and our nations for the harvest.

Women’s Covered Dish Gathering! (Tuesday, August 19 at 6:30 PM)
The women at Glory of Zion are invited to a Cover Dish Gathering on Tuesday night.  This will provide an opportunity for fellowship over a meal, as well as praise and worship.  Diana Lookabaugh will also share on our new Houses of Zion for women.  So bring your best dish, salad or dessert. 

The Sounds of the Feasts  (Sunday, August 17 at 2 PM)
This Sunday Allen Faubion will conclude the two week series on “The Sounds of the Feasts”.  The feast cycle creates a sound in us and in the earth that harmonizes both with the sound of the Lord and the instruments of His procession.  Recognizing this enables us to move beyond the experience of the event into the ongoing release of His deliverance in us and His glory around us.  During these sessions, Allen will lead in weaving together the anointing of the feasts, the anointing of the instruments, and the anointing of our next season of warfare.  This Sunday’s session will focus on Rosh Hashanah/Yom Kippur and the Sound that Shakes as well as Tabernacles and the Sound within.  The session begins at 2:00 PM in the sanctuary.  There is no registration or cost to attend.  This series will also be available by webcast.
