Dear Friends:

This Sunday I heard the Spirit of God say, “Some of you have had the fight knocked out of you. The Spirit of God is bringing a new wind of strength to cause a new fight to rise up in you. The fight has been knocked out of you because you stayed in an atmosphere too long.”Anne Tate began to prophesy: “At this time I am breaking old associations and configurations. My lines are greater than any ley line the enemy could lay.” I then heard the Lord say: “Rise up! Let My atmosphere rise up around you and cut the ties necessary, so that I can cause you to fight again and be set into a changing wind. I am breaking down the old structure you’ve been protecting. It is you that has been protecting an old structure saying, ‘Remake what I’m comfortable in.’ I’m breaking that down.
“Catch the changing wind of My Spirit, for you will land in a new place, in a new dimension of My Spirit. You will say, ‘I see a new land and I’m leaving the winds from the wilderness’. You had expectations in some relationships that you’re still trying to work out. I’ve been contending to cut you loose from those relationships. I am contending over you so that you rise up above the inordinate structure of the enemy that has been placed around you. Get ready to rise up, for I am contending and My sword is the strongest. Raise your sails and catch the wind. You have been in a dry and desolate land. But even though water has not been there for you to move forward, I will send the water if you will raise the sail.
“This is a week to know My presence. This is a time to know My ark and to know what ark you are to enter to journey into your future. I am causing My presence to flood in the land. Raise your sail and watch the glory begin to take you to a new place. Don’t hesitate. Hesitation is set as a snare to My movement for your life. Let your faith push you and catapult you. When you hear the wind of truth being spoken into a situation, move immediately. You don’t want to miss the boat. You don’t want to miss your proper alignment. Don’t hesitate. Delay is set as a trap. The word is critical in this hour. The intensity that is behind the word is pushing you forward at speeds and levels that we know not of, so don’t hesitate and don’t fall for the trap.
“Within the sands of your desert, there is a highway. But in the sands of your desert you have grown accustomed to the atmosphere and the “sirocco” wind that has been around you. In the sands of your desert, create a new atmosphere and I will cause that highway that is down deep to rise up. For there are ways of escape for My people in this next season. There are ways of escape that are forming, but you must create the wind that causes the highway to rise in front of you. I am laying the road. I am laying a road. Watch it form now. Go with Me on this new road, for you are headed into a place that you have not been. You must bring forth the wind and create the road so that you can end up where I have called you to be - new businesses, new alignments, new assignments.
“I’m having you to return to some business associates that you separated from and chose to walk a different direction from in this past season. Even now you will go back and reform a new way to venture forward. New ventures are on the horizon for My people. You must now grab hold and get on a highway that sets you ahead of the curve. You will go back and re-form a plan with them like Paul went back and got John Mark. These relationships will no longer be the same, but will be brought under a new covenant plan. They were once in an old structure, but now will be brought into a new structure. If those relationships are unwilling to come into a new structure, move on down the road for there are new relationships that will create this new venture. I will give some opportunities that did not manifest in the past season and now they will have an opportunity for a manifestation in this season. The ventures of My people now will take a shift in their formation. Realign and then align again so that those ventures might manifest properly!”

The Lord created us with emotions, but all too often, we either repress and deny our feelings or express them in ways that do not promote wholeness. If we choose to believe the lies the enemy seeks to convince us of, we open the door to destruction and loss. But God! A Call to All who release the Sound of the Shofar from Allen Faubion
Throughout history whenever God prepares to intervene significantly
in the earth and in the lives of His people He appoints His people to announce
His coming with the blasts of the shofar. This year during the month of Elul
(August 20-September 17), God is calling us to announce His presence in a
special way for the harvest and season we are preparing to enter. Our assignment
is to see that every day in Elul we break open each day with God’s mighty
sound. If you blow a shofar or you have a way to release the sound of the
shofar in your area (some release the shofar sound by playing the GZI CD “Sound
the Shofar”) and would like to join me in fulfilling this awesome assignment
you can do so by taking the following steps:
1) Choose the date(s) you will blow the shofar. Pick a day or several days from August 20 through September 17. You may choose any day or days except a Saturday.
2) Email your shofar schedule. Send your schedule commitment to allenf[at]gloryofzion.org and write “Shofar” in the subject lin. In the email include your name, location, time zone, and the date(s) you will release the sound of the shofar.
3) Facebook your shofar testimony to Chuck’s Facebook page and send a copy to allenf[at]gloryofzion.org. On the date(s) you release the sound of the shofar please take a moment to write a brief testimony of your experience and what the Holy Spirit did in you or revealed to you.
A Call to WATCH from Anne Tate
I have been doing the watches for years and just this week learned new things
about the Night Watches when Chuck spoke on Sunday. He called our attention
to Ruth 3 when Naomi tells Ruth that Boaz is going to be winnowing barley
tonight at the threshing floor. Chuck was referring to The
Second or Midnight Watch, which runs from 9 PM until midnight. I
had never seen this before and it really gave this watch increased dimension
for me. In Chuck’s book Reordering Your Day, he
quotes Psalms 119:62, “At midnight I will rise to give thanks to you, because
of your righteous judgments”(NKJV). He goes on to say that this
is the watch that is a time for thanksgiving and visitation. It is a
time of preparation when you are being prepared to receive many acts of change
in the earth. This is a time when the enemy is trying to keep us from
entering into His perfect plan for our lives and right now we are in a season
of that resistance until October 17th. It is a perfect time
for us to gain greater momentum and revelation to overthrow the enemy in this
watch.
Chuck has also heard prophetically that we are to press into the Fourth Watch or Morning Watch when the new day dawns from 3:00 AM – 6:00 AM, as the Lord awakens us. Again, in Chuck’s book Reordering Your Day, he points out that this is a watch where there is much spiritual activity occurring. Chuck believes many times we are awakened during this watch because of a dream that God has given us. It might help you to refresh yourself by reading again the portion of his book that tells us how to prepare yourself for dreams. This watch is most often equated with Peter’s trial that led him to deny his relationship with the Lord. Chuck’s message on Sunday offered much insight into this watch and I would recommend you watch the webcast replay or order the DVD.
I believe the Lord has much “new” He wants to release to us in this season of Elul as a result of us coming to increased understanding and revelation in the Night Watch. I look forward to participating in the Night Watch with the broadened strategy the Lord has released to break us into the new ten year cycle so that we finish well and are aligned to begin strong as we approach the King in the field.
First Prayer Meeting on the Land
On Saturday, August 29, we will be having our first
corporate prayer gathering on the land at 6 AM (CDT). Those of you
in the area may want to join us as we begin to intercede and travail for the
Lord’s plans and purposes for that land to be birthed. We are also planning
a live webcast of that gathering as well.
Following this time of prayer will be a day of “preparing the land”. Pam Pierce and Lee Forest will be leading a team of volunteers in a number of projects to prepare the land for Head of the Year and our future development of those 31 acres. Please continue praying for the final release of resources needed to secure the last few acres! Get Positioned for Victory this Weekend!
I am looking forward to Positioned for Victory with special
guest Robert Stearns. This Thursday morning, I will actually
be with Robert on a conference call to help raise awareness for the Day of
Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem (see details below). He has such an incredible
gift to help the Body of Christ ascend in worship and receive heavenly revelation
for the course ahead. He also carries a deep love for God’s covenant plan
and people.
As we enter the final month of this Samekh Season, we must be certain that
our “closings” are secure and that we are positioned to enter the Head of
the Year next month with an anointing to break into the new. There
is NO CHARGE or registration required to come to this week’s gathering.
We will begin on Friday night at 7:30 PM and meet all day Saturday. You

Firstfruits Gathering this Saturday Night!
I look forward to seeing many of you at our Firstfruits Gathering
this Saturday night at 7:00 PM (CDT) when
we celebrate the Rosh Chodesh blessing of the Hebraic month of Elul. We are
so honored that Eitan Shishkoff will be joining us. Eitan Shishkoff is a
respected apostolic leader in Israel. The anointing and authority he carries
will help us move to a new level of understanding the power of “one new man”.
I will be sharing on the blessing for this month. This is the month of the
tribe of Gad, a month to find your place in the order of the camps of the
Lord. Elul is also a month to when the King is in the field, and when rewards
begin to manifest from how you have positioned yourself in the past season.
Additionally, Elul is traditionally a month of self-examination and repentance
before the Lord in preparation for the High Holy Days of Yom T’ruah
(The Day of Trumpets/Rosh Hashanah) and Yom Kippur (The Day of Atonement).
So I hope you can join with us for this special gathering when we honor the
Lord with our firstfruits of time and giving. There is no registration
needed to join us on Saturday evening, in person or by webcast.
