I Will Make You My Shock Absorber

Chuck Pierce – Now, here’s the verse the Lord said, “The light shines on in the darkness. The darkness did not understand it or overpower it or appropriated or absorb it.” That was the word God spoke to me. That He was going to give us the ability this year to absorb light that we never could absorb in other times. Now that word absorb is a verb. It’s an action. It means to take something in. You can either do it quickly or you can do it in a very gradual way until you’re like a sponge and you’re full. The Lord said, “This will be a year of absorbing. And I am calling you to absorb light because darkness will arise this year and you’re gonna shine.” And I see the Lord also causing things to come out of us that we should not have absorbed in the past. The Lord says, “I’m gonna give you the ability to get something you couldn’t get.” You couldn’t get it last year, but you going to get it this year. And the Lord says, “I’m gonna make you capable of being like a shock system on a fancy vehicle that you’re not going to shock as easily and get knocked out of your abiding place as you did in other seasons. You’re going to be like a shock absorber for those around you.” And when they are shocked, you’re going to say, “Well, let me just explain this to you. I would’ve been shocked last year, but I’m not shocked this year. And this is what God’s gonna do to get us to a place that we are processing this from heaven instead of the earth and the God of this world showing us what He wants us to see.” We’re going to allow the perspective of heaven to overtake us.
