Linda Heidler – I just feel like this is the time I’ve been waiting to share this about the joy. Because sometimes you find yourself in a place and it’s like, “Yes, I know what all the Lord has done for me and I’m still struggling with joy. I’m just having a hard time getting any joy going.” There’s one verse that you can meditate on and I’ll guarantee you, you will get joy. It’s talking about Jesus when he went to the cross and it says, “For the joy set before him, he endured the cross.” Now, I wanna tell you, not one of us has had to endure the cross, or had to endure anything close to the cross. And it says, with Jesus, “For the joy set before him,” he could endure that. Now, there is a joy that can come, I don’t care what has gone on in your life. I don’t care what hardship you’re facing, I don’t care what physical thing is going on, emotional, mental. I don’t care what rejection you’ve had, what betrayal you’ve had. I don’t care what loss you’ve suffered, there is a joy set before you that will give you strength to endure whatever it is that God has called you to do. And that joy will come only by the Holy Spirit. So Holy Spirit, we just ask, you’ve made us one with Jesus, you’ve grafted us in. What you did for him, you will do for us. Whatever place we’re in that is robbing our joy, we declare there is a joy of the Holy Spirit that overcomes. And it’s our portion, it’s our blessing, it’s our right. And we will enter into that joy and overcome, and come through into every good thing you promised us.
