James, I feel the presence of God. I just got something Chuck prophesied about the current in the first service and the Lord just spoke to me he said, “I am a very current God,” he said, “I know the latest music, I know the latest fashions, I know the latest everything.” And I was just like, I feel it right in my spirit and it’s like you know what? We’ve got to not look at just the historical aspects of God, that we’re so familiar with, we need to see God that is in the now. He is in the now right with us, right now. He understands, he’s in culture, he’s up to date, he’s to the minute, okay he’s right now, right now kind of God. So as we’re embracing that current word, think of him as a God who is current, he is up to date and he is in the know and in the now.

My wife told the testimony last week about us getting a new truck and having to step into a new realm of faith in order to get this truck and what Chuck is saying right now about entering in and I’m speaking not only to those here, but those watching on the web I feel it’s even more pertinent to those who are not in the room with us. That in order to connect to what God is doing beyond the song, you’ve got to there’s something, an action that you take, there’s some kind of action that you take. One of the things that I had to do, I was talking to somebody this weekend, I said, I know that if I do not challenge my faith, that I’m not gonna enter into a new realm of faith. If I keep moving according to the way I’ve always moved in the, just a really safe way, I’m gonna stay where I am. So in order for me to break out, I have to go beyond myself, I have to give a little bit more, I have to use a little more time than I used in the past, I have to do something new, that’s uncomfortable for me. And so I’m telling you right now, on the web as we’re singing this song about the God who knows right now connecting to the word that Leann gave, we gotta connect to the true promise that he is the God right now, but you’re gonna have to do something that shows that you believe that. So whatever you gotta do today, if you gotta come out and dance, you’ve never danced a dance before and looked like a fool, if you’ve gotta give a hundred extra dollars in the offering, if you’ve gotta call that person that you never, that you promised you’d never call, whatever it is, step out today.
