The Root of Religion Is Being Washed Away

Robyn Vincent – When we were at those baptismal waters, that water was coming in. It was coming in. And I said, Lord, you know you have to turn your brain off, because you’re thinking, okay, Lord, am I going to get immersed? Am I going to get baptized, or are you sending in waves?

– [Congregation Member] Jesus.

Robyn Vincent – And I begin to say, the Lord is sending in waves. He’s sending in waves. And he said, I’m trying to knock you down so I can raise you up. He began to say, I’m trying to knock you down, so I can raise you up. And the Lord to speak to me like he was speaking to Paul. And he said, I need you to lose all of your credentials. I need you to lose all of your reputation. I need all of that to get washed away from you in this hour.

– [Congregation Member] Yes.

Robyn Vincent – So that I can raise you up, and you can become that sharp threshing instrument that you are born to be in this hour. And so as Kathy began to speak about the water, she was singing about, that’s what the Lord is doing in this place. I begin to tell Janice, God is getting the root of religion off of us.

– [Congregation] Yes!

Robyn Vincent – He’s getting the root of religion off of us, because God is saying, you shall go forth as a bright shining light. It’s not going to be dim in this hour. And so the Lord said, let me knock you down. Let me come into your life like a tidal wave, so that I can raise you up in Jesus’ name.
