The War for Rest in America

Linda Heidler – Today President Trump will rededicate America to God. And the timing of this is interesting because first he called for a national Shabbat on Friday night and Saturday. And then today is the day after that Shabbat. Today is the first day of the week. It’s the eighth day. It’s the day of New beginnings. And he is rededicating America today. This is a new beginning for America today as he does this. And this took me back to when we began as a nation because there was a proclamation in 1776 that really said, we will be a new nation. And the declaration that President Trump has made has the potential to initiate a new season of war for our nation the same way that that one in 1776 did. I was reading the transcription from Chuck’s message in Philadelphia and he said, “You win when somebody is declared the victor. Otherwise you may have a truce, you may have a ceasefire, you don’t win.” We want to win. We don’t wanna just settle for peace because you can’t settle for peace. And when I sent this to Chuck, he said, “Read Isaiah 13 and 14.” And it describes a time of pretty horrific warfare. And yet it said in the midst of this upheaval and in the midst of this judgment, you will experience redemption and rest. And you know, it’s such a contrast in that. But in the Bible there are two concepts of rest. One is the Shabbat rest that we get as a gift from God. And one is the rest that we get when we have warred to defeat every enemy and the land is at peace. And Shabbat is just a gift. We just had the Shabbat rest, but the other one, the other, if you’re gonna have that other rest, you have to war for it. You have to see the enemies defeated.

Chuck Pierce – And that’s New Testament, Hebrews.

Linda Heidler – Hebrews. Yeah. And you can’t have that kind of peace or rest until your enemies are defeated. You can’t war for rest unless you have your Shabbat rest because that’s the reset. That’s the restrengthening. But you can’t have the rest of peace until you defeat your enemies. So we have to be prepared for both the physical and the spiritual warfare. And we have to be prepared to see it through. It took me back to the Sunday before the 9/11 terrorist attack because in that service, Barbara Wentroble came up and she gave a prophetic word about how God was calling those aside to commune with him. And she said, this is not a communion for the faint of heart. This is a communion where you will eat and drink to strengthen you for the days ahead. We had no clue what was about to happen. Well then LeAnn came right after that, and she released a prophetic song and she said, eat and drink and gain new strength for there is war on the horizon. I talked to her later and she said, “I so wanted to reach out and pull those words back into my mouth because I didn’t wanna say that, but that is what the Lord was saying.” There’s war on the horizon. It’s the war for the cross, and it’s the war for your territory. And we’ve watched that war unfold ever since then. And just like if you don’t defeat an enemy, you have to keep fighting him until you defeat him. I mean, it took 50 years to get back to Houston to overcome the things that drove Parham out of there. But we’ve watched that war that was initiated on 9/11. We’ve watched that unfold and I believe we’re at the culmination of that war. It is the war for the cross, and it is the war for our territory. And we need to know we’re in a Kairos time. Will we have the cross of Christ established over our territory? Or will we have the crossed swords of Islam established over our territory? It is that simple. So as we come to Pentecost, ask the Lord to prepare us for the season ahead because it’s a season of war. But the other thing we have to know is every time there is a season of war, it is a season of harvest. Every time there is war, there is harvest. And as we war in the spirit, souls are released to hear and perceive the gospel. So be prepared for war, but be prepared for harvest because ultimately we will not establish this nation as one nation under God by a decree from our President. And we will not establish it by any legislation that gets passed. It will be established as one nation under God by souls being saved, coming to God for forgiveness through Jesus Christ. That’s how our nation will be established as one nation under God. So we’re not just fighting to say we’re gonna be free as a Christian nation. We are fighting for people to come to the knowledge of Jesus and for our nation to be established as one nation under God because the people of this nation say, there is one God. He is my God. And this nation will serve that God.
