We are grateful for your donation as we move through Elul 5786, a month linked with the tribe of Gad. His name can mean “good fortune” and “a troop is rising.”  Both are true for Gad.  This tribe was known for being loyal and faithful, but even more for their ferocity in battle.  Whoever would strike out at Gad would be struck down by Gad.  I declare you are anointed to rise up as part of a remnant being positioned to prevail with the King in the field.
