Expect to Minister in the Unexpected Places

Voices: Chuck Pierce, Keith Pierce
Date Given: July 4, 2021

Chuck Pierce – Keith, share what you shared with me how you ministered this week.

Keith Pierce – You know, yesterday. I went to WinStar and I don’t mind telling ya’ll that. And so it was very, very strange because every time I sat down, the Lord would put me by somebody that was lonely, insecure, rejected, abandoned and at a loss for their self. And so yesterday I had the opportunity to minister to several different people that were several different types of people. There were different nationalities. There was different races. There was different ages. And here was the weird thing and I told Chuck this morning. I said, I went home last night and I sat in my chair and before Penny K dropped me off, she asked me what was wrong. And I went home last night and I sat in my chair and I would burst into tears, just unbelievable for no reason. And I sat there and I said, Lord, why am I crying? And He said, for the people that I love that so many people don’t look for and see. And here’s the thing. We get so wrapped up in where we need to be that we don’t allow Him to put us where He wants us to be.

Now I’m gonna challenge everybody since it is the 4th of July and freedom and liberty is our garment. When you leave here today, whether you’re in the grocery store, the hospital, whether you’re in a bar. Whether you’re in a restaurant. Look and see who’s next to you. So I would win and He would have me give it. But I wanna tell you about this one couple. I sat down to this old couple and they were probably my age. They didn’t have any teeth. She didn’t have a bra on. He hadn’t shaved. They smelled. And I saw him put $10 into a machine, just enough for him to bet on. And the Lord spoke to me and He said, they’ve taken their last $10 to try to multiply for groceries for the 4th. And the Lord told me to give them $200, a hundred a piece. And so I took a hundred dollars and I gave it to them and they hugged me and the stink that got around my neck and shirt was so intense and I was so unbelievably thankful for it. Now listen to me. When you go fishing, don’t you ever forget if you’re gonna be a fishermen of men, that fish stink. Okay? When I gave them the hundred dollars each, I really expected them to put it in the machine. They hugged me. They kissed me. They thanked me for the 4th for their family and then they told me they were on their way back to Slidell, Texas.

Here’s the thing. Never, ever, ever underestimate the spirit of God using you in a place that you least expect or never judge where He’s taken one of you to go to sit in the midst of sinners. Now give a shout for freedom ringing.
